So last week was a super hard week but it looks like we've overcome the trial of our faith and now are receiving the blessings....which are falling form the sky like a Utah summer rain storm!!!! In all honesty, we're receiving so so so many blessings. Last week we didn't even have any progressing investigators and now we have 4 baptisms this weekend, 2 people with baptismal dates, and a whloe handful of progressing investigators! The Lord has been so good to us! So far it seems as if every transfer has had a theme or something that I have to learn and this transfer's theme seems to be a combination of patience and seeing the answers to my prayers. I don't think I've opened my eyes enough to see as many answers that I've received to my prayers in my enitre life as I have in these 3 weeks! (i'm not sure if that sentence actually made sense but you all know what I was trying to get out). This much of this email has already taken me a long time...it seems like every week it takes me longer and longer to write these emails...It's so hard when I'm thinking in spanish and have to write in english!
Our whole zone is focusing on learning more about Jesus Christ and so I've been studying a lot about Christ. This week I studied a scripture that I LOVED. It's Alma 7:11-13
11 "And he shall go forth, suffering pains and aafflictions and btemptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will ctake upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.

12 And he will take upon him adeath, that he may bloose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to csuccor his people according to their infirmities.
13 Now the Spirit aknoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the bflesh that he might ctake upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me."
I've read these scriptures many times but I've never really studied them and I learned so much about Christ through reading about His atonement. The part that caught my attention most was in vs 12 where it says that He loosed the bands of death that bound His people. I didn't understand what that part meant so I read the foot note which took me to Psalms and it said: "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the adeath of his saints." And that made me think a whole lot. From that, I understood that Christ rejoices every time someone that believes in Him dies. And I found out it's because part of the atonement is the Resurrection. Before He performed the atonement, we could not be resurrected but now we can, he litterally loosed the bands that bound us and now we can live again after this life. So, he rejoices every time that one of us dies because that huge sacrifice that He made fo us, the atonement, is working and we can be resurrected. I don't know if I explained that very well through writing it. I'm kind of distracted right now and I'm thinking in Spanish...I'm sorry. But it totally opened up my eyes! I loved learning that this week.
Well, I'm sorry that I don't have that many new things to share with you this week. It's been a great week! Super busy! But good! I have my last interview with President Sonne on Friday :( He and Sister Sonne are coming to each missionary's apartment individually! I am going to miss them so so much!
I love you all so so much! Have a great week!
